New version of ATC Data Display (ADD)

New version of ATC Data Display NOW available under LINUX and WINDOWS OS.  ATC Data Display (R- ADD) represents a key element of the man-machine interface (MMI) in operational environment of surveillance data processing and display system. It serves for a display of integrated air picture providing the user with target data, supplementing ATC information (flight plans, meteorological and aeronautical information) including Safety Nets. Besides this, R-ADD encompasses specific military ATC capabilities. Both MMI and visual display system are built in compliance with ICAO and EUROCONTROL standards. To enhance the controller performance, features of advanced graphics are implemented to R-ADD visual display. MMI provides tools for ease of flight control and flight parameters calculation. New version of R-ADD supports a display of local weather conditions in a form of primary radar data (scan).

R-ADD serves for a display of following ATC information:

  • Target data (raw video, plots, tracks)
  • Flight planning and airspace management data
  • Local weather conditions, weather forecast
  • Primary weather data (scan)
  • Nav-aids and measure vectors
  • Short-term conflict events (Safety Nets)

In addition to this, RADD can be designed as stand-alone or network-based solution, thus applicable for any controller working position (CWP) at control towers, approach or en-route centers. ADD equipment can be delivered along with mono- /multi- sensor tracker, and/or data processing unit (DPS) for provision of short-term conflict alerts (Safety Nets). CWPs equipped with ADD module can, through DPS, be interfaced to such surveillance data sources as PSR, MSSR, MLAT, ADS-B, etc.
