R-SYS is proud to have been a main partner of the DRONTEX conference series since its inception. The fourth edition – DRONTEX 2025, held under the theme “Safety of the European Skies”, took place on 15–16 October 2025 in Piešťany, Slovakia, gathering more than 200 experts in unmanned aviation, security, and airspace management from the V4 region and beyond.
The conference addressed key topics related to security challenges posed by drones, including potential threats to national infrastructure and strategic assets. At the same time, several speakers highlighted how unmanned and counter-drone systems can help mitigate such risks and support crisis management, search and rescue missions, and other special operations.
Presentations and Networking
Our colleague Tomáš Schóber delivered a presentation titled “From U-Space to Operations: A National Low-Altitude System”, emphasizing the importance of safe drone integration into the airspace. He also presented the IXO MIL/DCM system, designed for managing military and DCM operations (Disaster and Crisis Management).
Through several real-world scenarios, he demonstrated the system’s ability to receive, process, and visualize sensor data in real time — providing situational awareness and decision support for operational command centers.
In addition to the main program, we also had the opportunity to present our solutions during an invitation-only workshop and through discussions with many inspiring professionals and innovators from the drone industry.

New Formats and Live Demonstrations
This year’s DRONTEX conference introduced new formats such as panel discussions, interactive workshops, and small talks with startup representatives and technology developers. The program also featured a live demonstration of an anti-drone system, held on 16 October at the conference’s partner hotel.
We are delighted to have once again represented R-SYS at this significant event, showcasing our innovative unmanned traffic management solutions and strengthening our partnerships across the drone ecosystem.
A big thank-you goes to the organizers from the Mám Dron Association for their excellent cooperation — we are already looking forward to DRONTEX 2026.ogies provide rapid mobilization, efficient resource deployment, and safe coordination in the field.
